Be Capable.

Be Credible.

The services we provide are vitally important, and people depend on us to get it right.

It’s essential that we get new customers up and running as quickly as possible.

And tackle problems when they come up.

To the thousands of people who contact us every day, the Customer Care team is the voice of BT – and we’re looking for a particular kind of person to join us.

Customer Connections Advisors

Whether it’s a new broadband connection or a BT Sports package, connections advisors work with our customers to get their services up and running as quickly as possible. It’s your goal to make sure that everything’s working as it should be, and that your customers feel good about the service they’ve received.

Customer Welcome Advisors

It’s up to our welcome advisors to make sure customers get the most out of their products and services and understand the potential of what’s on offer. You could find yourself helping someone get the best broadband speed, or connect new devices, so having some technical know-how would be helpful. But it’s just as important that you have the kind of people skills that make people smile.

Customer Help Advisors

From checking bills to helping with house moves, our help advisors are the people our customers speak to when they need something done. They’re also the first people to deal with complaints and problems, finding out what’s gone wrong and doing everything they can to put it right.

Working here

You’ll get first-class training so that you can provide the best possible service to our customers, and you’ll be well-supported by your manager. This kind of work is target driven and calls for a certain kind of person, but we’ll help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to do outstanding work. And because we’re always on the lookout for people of exceptional potential, this is likely to be the first step in a varied and rewarding career.

Working hours

At BT we’re committed to being there when our customers need us, and we will need you to support during evenings and weekends. We’ll ask for your preferences and match them as closely as we can to business need.  On average you could expect to work six Saturdays, two Sundays and twenty-five evenings over a ten-week period. This can vary depending on the time of year.  We’re pleased to offer both full- and part-time opportunities, and we have a range of options to help you structure your working week. Please note: during your training you will need to come in full-time.

‘BT is a great employer and provides

great opportunities to develop and

progress both professionally

and personally.’

Keith Davies, Customer Help Advisor, Liverpool.
